There has been a recent rumor that they are going to release a Greek Trilogy God of War remaster this year, which would include this. There is also allegedly going to be a new Greek side-game for Kratos coming out this year. People are thinking something more on the scale of Miles Morales and not a full-sized experience.

There has been a recent rumor that they are going to release a Greek Trilogy God of War remaster this year, which would include this. There is also allegedly going to be a new Greek side-game for Kratos coming out this year. People are thinking something more on the scale of Miles Morales and not a full-sized experience.

I've heard the same rumors but this is a great price for a fantastic game. This was a stunner in the PS3 time frame and still looks great today

Way better than the newer ones. This was the last good god of war imo. Couldn't finish ragnarok because of how slow it was. TC Carson was so much better as Kratos. Judge made him so slow and boring. "Boy".

That rumor already came and went. The remastered was supposed to be announced in December. Then, it was supposed to be announced for the 20th anniversary. That person clearly doesn't know what they are talking about.

I was late to this series and started up around the time 3 came out with the remastered versions of 1 and 2, then played 3 and 2018. Platinumed all of them. I recently started Ragnarok and was surprised how poor it is in many different ways, so much so that I'm pushing myself to even play it let alone platinum it (I will just to keep the streak going but not super happy about it lol). Paid $30 for it and think that's fair but would have been pissed had I paid full price. The pacing is horrendous, map traversal is painful, the MetroidVania style of backtracking once you get the thing is super outdated for a game that released in 2023, no option to delete a save file...seriously, no option to delete a save file unless you go into storage settings on the PS5, and many more. Art direction/graphics, voice acting and humor are the only saving graces. Would love to meet the people who called this a masterpiece and gave it a 10/10. I'm mostly through it and feel a 7/10 score is generous.

3 is definitely my favorite of all five (never played Ascension).
