These silicone mats also work well as soldering mats. Unless you want all the little pockets and whatnot on the soldering mats, these do fine for the price.

True, but you can get said soldering mats at this price on Aliexpress. I know because I have one.

Enroll him in some classes. My dog has not only been fixing my broken chains but creating original pieces. I probably need to start an Etsy shop for him. His designs are one of a kind

These would also be a good item for people with resin 3D printers. The lip will prevent small resin spills from getting on your table, and cleaning resin off silicone is super easy. This is slightly cheaper, and also larger than, the Elegoo slap mat.

Maybe a solution looking for a problem.
I recommend spending .99 to 2.99 and buying an Ikea food serving tray. Most major metros in USA have at least 1 Ikea so if you're in a major metro you can add that to the "ikea list" most folks keep. :-)
YES...Ikea trays are made from hard plastic and can have a slippery surface... but rigid tray can be easier to clean and maintain.

Got one of these and works well under my dogs' water bowls. Only drawback is that it collects so much pet hair.

Collects spilled water and lose pet hair?
Definitely a slick deal.

Plenty of other sellers have the exact same item as low as $6— same dimensions, same appearance, thousands of 4.5+ star reviews. What's so special about the "Gorilla Grip" one?

How much would your dog charge for installing a mod chip in an original Xbox?

I purchased a similar product some time ago. We have a Golden Retriever and he makes such a big mess when drinking. The mat didn't help at all because he would splash water everywhere and water would end up getting under the mat. So, I now use it for my resin printer.
