Absolute crazy deal. I would be all over this but eight months ago I bought an MBA M3 13" 16gb - 512gb for $1149.00
I should've saved my money!

microcenter has an m4 macbook pro with 1tb for $1530. base m4 is about on par with m3 pro in multicore, a little better in single core, and a little worse in graphics. brighter screen, better camera.

the M3 pros are still overpriced right now compared to the m4 and even m4 pros deals

I wouldn't call it crazy deal.
Costco and BB PM was $1000 for 512gb M3 Pro about a month ago.

the m4 air cpu is benching higher than the m3 pro.. unless im missing something

I think the m3 pro has the advantage of
dual cooling fans for prolonged more intensive use ; slightly bigger screen ; The base version has slightly more RAM; the 120Hz display ; a couple more ports; better speakers
And the iGPU is quite a bit more powerful on the pro.
