I really hope people get these over the international version in the usa. Samsung cs is so bad, couldnt imagine dealing with a language barrier etc when problems do arise.

Give the denon perl pros a shot. Definitely bigger but they fit my ears as well as the og buds pro. Sound quality is excellent as well (must use personalized sound setup via app)

I have every version except the Live and I will say these are my favorite. I loved the Buds 2 (even more than the Buds Pro 2) but then got a new laptop with Windows 11 and my left bud kept stop working and I would have to delete device and re-pair it to get it to work again but the next day stop again. I got these mainly for listening to videos at work and teams meetings and have actually forgot they were in after meetings ending, only realizing they were still in when I would go to the bathroom and see them in the mirror.

There's no language barrier with the International version. The difference is that international versions do not come with a warranty for US customers. I agree though that Samsung's quality control is suspect at best, but if you put the international version earbuds through their paces in the allotted return window, you should be able to uncover any manufacturing defects early on and return them if they are defective or have poor quality control.

Im guessing u havent had the pleasure of dealing with samsung customer service 2x ALREADY on a pair of buds 3 pro. Yes there is a language barrier dealing with the "US" customer service... Couldnt imagine the international not having one ... Completely agree quality control is non existent now for samsung. I wont be purchasing anything else from them. Absolute nightmare.

I'm sorry for the confusion; you may have misunderstood me. The difference with the international version of these earbuds isn't that you get customer support in a different language or go through an international support number. The international variant of these earbuds are meant for international markets, hence, the international variants only have warranty and support in those markets. If you purchase an international variant of these earbuds in the United States, you get no warranty support. That's the only difference. It's as if you are buying earbuds second-hand. Once the return window closes from whomever you bought the international variant, that's it. No warranty if you're in the United States.

Normally, I'd say the lack of manufacturer warranty doesn't matter as most people's purchases usually last past the typical limited 1-year warranty, but since these have terrible quality control, having a even a limited warranty from Samsung in which you have to pay to ship and deal with their shitty support may be worthwhile paying more for the US variants.

Commenting to say I hate the Buds 3 Pros. They look cheap, sound ok, but the charging is incredibly finicky (it's very frustrating to get to the gym and realize your headphones are dead). Device switching without a Samsung device is awful. I tried just using them for zoom calls, but they would randomly not work when I hopped from one call to another.
In summary: Avoid.

These or xm5s for comfortability? I've seen lots of reviews about battery, audio quality, ANC, microphone call clarity, etc but almost nothing about whether these or the Sony XM5s are more comfortable to wear for 30 minutes or more at a time.

For 30 mins at a time u should have absolutely 0 issues with either.

I'm having the same issue with windows 11 sadly. Before that these were my go to for both work and home use.
