Man I miss my windows phones, they were so nice and so speedy... People really slept on that OS! As for this deal, amazing TV show if you love sci fi you need to watch this. Up there with star trek, star wars, firefly, andromeda, and farscape.
Loved this show in college with some 'refreshments'... now I can love it again...on a treadmill...
The exact way I've been watching the show as well, ha!
As for this deal, this remastered version was $20 on Fanflix (Claimable on FaH / Vudu) back in December, but that seems to be a rare deal on December 17th only.
I think it has been $20-$30 a few times over the past year on Apple and Fandango at Home / Vudu. If you're not in a hurry to get the show, I'd bet we'll another sale over the next few months.
I love The Expanse and other more recent sci-fi shows. I previously bought Babylon 5 based upon glowing recommendations, but I can't get into it because the production quality and special effects are so comically bad compared to more modern shows. I find it so bad, that's it distracting to watch. Although it's not nearly as old, BSG significantly improved in these areas when it aired about a decade later in 2004. Unfortunately, they canceled the Babylon 5 remake...

Must just be personal preference or maybe you really focus on the graphics during watching shows/movies?
I dislike "old" style graphics, effects, camera quality, etc too - but Babylon5 didn't bother me at all. Season 1 was slow and rougher to get through, but then it got a lot better. Overall, the entire series as a whole was amazing.
1. Star Trek: Deep Space 9
2. Babylon 5
3. Battlestar Galactica (2004)
4. The Expanse

Thanks, will hold off then still have to crack the seals on the original start trek series lol.

Stargate: Universe and Earth2 would both be on my TV science fiction list, as well as the first season of Space 1999.as well as the first season of Lost In Space (and other seasons as camp comedy).

I can understand that. I didn't watch the show at the time, but watched it in the last five years, and I did enjoy it. In a way, I don't mind how it looks, as it reminds me of the mid-nineties. Though, I do wish the sets in particular looked better. I like the show, but I'd have difficulty recommending it to people.
I disagree with most others too that the show gets significantly better starting in season 2. I think it improves slightly, but not to the degree I'd seen people talk about online. Michael O'Hare, the actor who was the original commander of the station had some very bizarre acting choices, and he's off the regular cast after season 1. However, his character is more integral to the storyline than his replacement, so it was unfortunate in a way.

A deal on B5 remastered, Mr. Morden, surely you, and your associates, can help with that?
