"The third movie in the animated series, The Return of the King (which also includes The Two Towers story)"
Hobbit and ROTK were made by Rankin-Bass while Lord of the Rings (first half) was Ralph Bakshi so they aren't really a planned trilogy and there is Two Towers content missing.
There is a lot of other interesting stuff in the deal, too, though (as there usually is with Fanflix), with the non-series stuff being MoviesAnywhere. I'm afraid I'm at just the right age where Follow That Bird hit a nostalgia trigger.

Hi,

regarding the
The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit at Amazon.

I didn't know those cover arts existed. I might have to buy them to add to my collection, but they are not both part of the get 3 for 2 deal ( booo )

I guess this was a bad week to start a budget.

:-D

thanks

Nah, that was hot garbage. It's an insult to Studio Ghibli and real artists everywhere.

Thanks! Wife absolutely LOVES the series, and has NEVER watched the animated movies. I had The Hobbit already, and snagged LOTR with my slow shipping credit that was expiring tomorrow!

How about that feature-length version of "Kimba the White Lion" in the style of Disney?
