Is it worth the extra $300+ over the Standard? I bought the Standard for $369 and it's a solid guitar.

To me it is, to you maybe not. Depends on if you value the Baked Maple neck, higher quality pickups, and the Floyd 1000 over the special on the standard. To me those are the main things, there are a couple others like the softer contoured body, etc. That said, the standard is a great value of a guitar.
