Found this kit with compact Reciprocating Saw, 2.0 Ah battery and charger in the clearance section of my Depot (Union/Vaux Hall, NJ). I think maybe 6 units remain on the shelf.

R8648K is the product.

Yellow shelf tag was $90, but rang up as $65. I think the online price of $268 is too high, since the bare tool sells for a reduced price of $99.

YMMV, available as clearance in store only, not online for pickup or shipping.

I doubt it but can be wrong. This battery is R87002 and the Max 2ah is R840020.

I bought this saw just this morning and the battery that came with it is a 2Ah MAX Output 18V R840020

Just picked one up. It does come with the 2ah max battery. There are 4 left at the Hawthorne, CA store. Found mine on the top shelf.
