Agreed OP, this would be a great set for someone starting out their handy career. It's almost a shame it's so complete, makes it hard to take advantage of another kit deal to add a bigger battery. Though they do have 2 battery deals pretty often.

The drill is strictly homeowner grade (but still better than the also-ran brands). I love that it has a right-angle drill, but I don't know how much use most people would get from it.
