Nabbed one, thanks.

After all these years, "16.9oz" is still my favorite proof that America Hates Metric and we'll go to really awkward lengths to make sure of it Smilie

Wait, what about wine and liquor?

No, that's cool.

The Diet Coke [amazon.com] (gray bottle) is also on sale for the same price. I got 5 cases for about $18, shipped via S&S. Thanks, OP.

They put more carbonation in the bottles because the plastic is porous, causing the carbonation to slowly seep out. This means that if you get a relatively fresh bottle, it should taste crisper and fresher due to the extra fizz inside. For this reason, I prefer plastic bottles over cans, as they always taste better to me.

Yes, it's quite ridiculous. 16.9 comes out to 499.7926 ml. Just submit and use the same as sodas in metric countries and use 500ml.

It is really weird since we have liters and 2 liters... but I guess we just can't handle 500 ml or 1/2 liter... gotta go with 16.9 oz.

They do the bottles are 500ml, when converting to fl oz it is rounded down to 16.9.

3 for $10 ($3.33) at your local Dollar General on Coke 6-pack bottles. Problem sometimes with the 3 for $10 is they do run out quickly. 30% chance I can ever find 3 Coke Zero's to buy, and it has to be 3 to get the discount. We don't drink regular Coke or Diet Coke.

The first thing I do when I buy Coke in bottles like this, when I get them home, is tighten the cap on every bottle, I mean really crank them down. I've noticed over years now, that the caps are not very tight and the carbonation leaks out quite fast. I don't see this issue with Pepsi, strangely, making me wonder why Coke has this problem. As long as I tighten the caps super snug, the fizz lasts for at least a couple of months or more. Just my observation, I don't know if it's only a problem with the local bottler of Coke here in So Cal.

If the UAW had their way, drinks would all be measured in cubic inches like Eisenhower wanted! /s
