Reminder that at this price these are 5+ hour flights in harder than average airline seats that don't recline, have lower than average legroom, and water is not free onboard.

At this price it works for cargo-in-a-seat situations like a musical instrument where the cost of an extra seat can be cheaper than the cost to check or carry on a bag. https://customersupport.spirit.co...e/KA-01248

This price is actually somewhat typical between DC/Baltimore and LA. I booked a one-way ticket from LAX to BWI for May 4th of this year and it was $79. I booked it a couple of months ago though.

Oops, I realized this is the RT price. And nonstop! Nice! As long as you can tolerate Spirit.

I guess it works if your cargo can fly solo, otherwise for 5 hours won't you have to sit in the same rock hard seats that don't recline and have no leg room?
