  • The hit sci-fi shooter returns. An overpopulated Earth suffocating under limited resources looks to Providence, the solar-powered space colony for support.   • Equipped with BLADE, the experimental weapon system that can scan, copy, and save up to three existing weapons, space DARPA agent Sam Gideon must infiltrate Providence, defeat legions of future-tech foes, and disable the energy transmitter threatening life on Earth.

This game blew my mind when I first played it on the PS3. Although dated, it's almost a no brainer at this price point.

If you liked Gears of War this game will probably appeal to you. It's very similar, but you have a suit of armor that has wheels on it and lets you sort of drive around the battlefield.

Great game but short... But also don't regret buying it full price back then

I'm bummed there's no sequel and dumb people wished it had multiplayer for some dumb reason back then

I recall the first boss in this game was REALLY hard and I wasn't sure I'd keep going, but the game got a lot easier and turned out to be really fun.

Don't sleep on Vanquish – it's a criminally underrated masterpiece from Shinji Mikami (RE4, The Evil Within). Top tier shooter. Play it.

This was the era when every game had a tacked on multiplayer mode for some reason. Uncharted 3 had multiplayer, Mass Effect 3 had multiplayer, Spec Ops: The Line had multiplayer... We've gotten to the point now where multiplayer games have mostly gone free-to-play, but back then, there was still a feeling that multiplayer needed to be included to give players "value."

Great FPS with awesome production value and graphics. The price point is worth a decent burger and play this game. No regrets. The son played it millions of times: its his favorite game.

I always thought this was a prequel game design for Metal Gear Rising, but in outer space, also made by the same developer.

I never got past it and gave up. It was a ps+ freebie on my ps3.
