I bought 165 bags last year, the color hasn't changed. But, this is absolutely the worst mulch you could find. Tons of huge pieces from pallets, blue and red pieces, lots of big rocks, lots of random pieces of metal and plastic and curled up nails. And of course the random garbage.

I've seen it for 5 for 10 but this mulch is just tooo fine. The home depot one is better. Hoping for a deal on those

Home Depot has 4/$10 Scotts Earthgro right now! Not $2, 2.50, but I nabbed it because I like it more than Lowe's mulch and I need it now!

If you get Sta-Green, expect garbage, plastic, nails and tarp pieces. Check the bags for white mold too if you can. It happened a lot even in my tree planting soil bags 🤢

editing: my past two hugely white mold ones also had the red fungus that appears in the summer. Check if the bags smell really bad before buying!

looks like the current weekly advertisement runs until 2APR so this might be on sale northeast starting Thursday 3APR. Our lowes has 2000+ bags and the entire parking lots are filled with overstock. So thats usually the indicator for on sale.

Sta-green and premium are the same product. Premium is being sold through (most of it is left overs from last year) and getting replaced with Sta-green. It's just a change of packaging.

I am a lowes reward member and delivery over $35 is not free. Its still charging me $69 delivery fee. However store pick up is free.
