Thx & repped. I usually drink black coffee. Like the frother option when wife / boys wanna drink hot chocolate Smilie

Which makes sense. It's a frother, not a steaming wand.

I was interested in the barista system until I saw it was pods only.

I have the dual brew for coffee and it's fine. This doesn't sound like espresso though. That and it just has the frother like my dual brew and no steaming kinda says not real espresso. I'll pass. I grind my own beans and use a steam wand with a no-name machine. The steam wand makes it worth it to stop using my regular coffee maker.

The dual brew has been the best coffee maker I've owned though and I like the flexibility of ground / pods with that machine. So - probably can't go wrong with these if you want simple.

I have the barista and wish I didn't get it. The nespresso part works sub par compared to a real nespresso unit.
