Must go through employee purchase plan. This price is cheaper than the slower t7 and the best I could find per terabyte from a reliable brand.

The regular price is $279, I don't know what SD is inserting this fake level of discount for.

The Crucial X9 Pro 4TB is $234.99 at Best Buy. No EPP needed.

Absolutely do not buy that one. It has a maximum transfer speed of 50 mb per second after the first few hundred gigabytes of high-speed transfer. I bought, encountered the problem, and read the numerous Reddit threads of some people getting it to work eventually. But nothing worked for me and most buyers. Waste of time and now I'm buying the Samsung, which is reliable.

Wish Samsung catches up with other brands and make the 8TB version.

This is a good deal based on current prices for good brand drives, and it doesn't have the hassle of enclosures and cooling that you need for more expensive DIY thunderbolt drives.
I have two Samsung T7s, one a Shield model, and have used them for fast file transfers and as external game drives. Both are super fast (my PC is 10gbps USB 3.2) and I have no problem running even new and graphically complex games from them.

While Macs utilize USB-C ports that are compatible with USB 3.2, they do not currently support the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard (up to 20 Gbps), and instead, they default to USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds (up to 10 Gbps).

No, Apple doesn't allow file system access - but Android does

Sometimes the price changes between the product page and the cart. I couldn't get it to work in the Samsung app but got it to work in Android Firefox on my tablet.
Confirmed it is still alive, just accessed by going to ticketsatwork and then logging into my Samsung account.

Confirmed the $252 price is valid. I placed my order today and saw the charge on my card for $269.88.

They charged $17.89 sales tax. Free shipping. So yeah, the total cost was higher...but still a solid deal. Thanks OP!

Still overpriced now that the chinese memory company YMTC is flooding the market with NAND and DRAM chips like there is no tomorrow. I am guessing it will take a year or two for price discovery on the new lower average prices for SSDs and DRAM. My guess is 4TB drives drop to $49 in two years as YMTC ramps up production and undercuts Samsung and SK Hynix's prices.

On the product page, it states that the drive is iPhone 15 compatible (?).
