Honestly one of my favorite trilogies in all of gaming.

The story of Ezio Auditore is nothing short of fantastic. Never have I felt as connected to a character as Ezio, who you play first as a newborn, all the way into old age.

The games are fun action, and some of the more immersive digital historical worlds out there just to get lost in.

At just over $5 per game, if you've never played Assassin's Creed before do yourself a favor and give this a whirl.

Ezio the character is great. The story after 2 was nonsense and when Ubisoft decided to not pay Bell and ruin the story/skip the modern day Animus stuff for budget reasons, it went downhill.

Agreed, Desmond's story got complicated and went in a direction Ubisoft didn't even understand.

Everything with Ezio though was incredible. The city of Constantinople in Revelations is breathtakingly immersive.

There's not going to be a Switch 2 version. Lol. This has been out for years. It doesn't even have a PS5 or Series X version. They would have done those if they had any plans to upgrade this collection.

WakaWaka where Yasuke at?

These whitewashed vestiges of Colonialist Gamer Chud proclivities should remain buried in the past in order to make way for more important marginalized voices, despite whatever regard they may have once enjoyed. Are they fun games? "Fun" isn't relevant in the Post-Druckmann era, and all praise to the Flying Spagett Monster for progress finally having happening to society. Ezio represents the worst kind of gaming - well crafted adventures that refuse to boldly stare down the insidious demons of Fascism and Authoritarianism, screaming oh-so loudly with their very silence. In fact, Ezio was a mistake, and I think Nintendo has failed us deeply by sanctioning this collection when so many better alternatives exist.

Just like my grandmother said to me, "i don't care what they tell you in school, Assassin's Creed II was the worst one."
