It's good for perennial herbs like mint and chives which would otherwise take over the whole garden.

Got this deal last year to hold a hose. Works great. Holds 75' of one of those 'nylon' flexible hoses no problem (with plenty of capacity to spare) and looks nice. Drilled a few holes in the bottom for drainage. The only issue I have with them is that they fall over when pulling hose out because they're so light but I don't really care. Could throw a brick in the bottom if you wanted I suppose.

Fill them half or 3/4 with all natural mulch (like pine bark) and then put your regular bagged soil or something, you're good to go.

Same. I got the "unavailable" message yesterday, but I just placed the order and it's now ready for pickup.

I am only getting options of 12.8 and 16" diameter. Not 20"
Confusing... but I am able to add 20" to cart without selecting diameter..

Not available

Edit: clicked to add two to cart even though it had some weird message about not having the choice of size. Said order went though for store pickup at $18.15 hope it's all good, it's a good deal if so.

Edit 2: order was canceled and money will be refunded in 4-5 business days

Yep, that's why I hesitated to buy it, it will take a lot of soil to fill it up.

Reg price is $16.95 each. Buying more than 2 gives you 50% off. That means the net cost is $8.47 each. 5 x $8.47 = $42.35, which is what you paid.

You don't need to fill them to the top of your plants have long stems.

Well, they just removed the 20" option from the website... Talked to my mom on the way home an hour ago and she said she wanted me to pick four up for her. Less than hour later, and 20" no longer there...

they are still there, but not displaying on the original link. Try this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Vigor.../302655968. I just bought 10 with that link.

My 12 were just delivered in 3 boxes. 2 will be used as solar fountains with garden pots inside for different levels. The rest will be for flowers and tomato plants. To fill cheaper, fill with 2 ltr bottles with caps on, plastic milk containers, gravel, water bottles, cardboard, branches or sticks, leaves, grass clippings, etc. But just remember to drill holes. Lots of holes.

What are people using these for? Any project ideas? Must you fill the entire thing with soil?
I did 8ft 4x4s in the middle, filled with rock base and soil top to hang string market lights around the patio. Plant flowers around the poles.
