There's one of you in every thread, and I suspect there always will be no matter how much RAM or SSD Apple offers at the base level, lol.. storage isn't everything.I'm a fairly heavy / technical user. I have a 14" MBP with a 2TB SSD.. you know how much I've used of it? ~500GB. That includes several years of accumulation, dev tools (including Docker), and numerous extra ~8-40GB local LLM models that I don't really need to keep around.
512 is low for the price but i could get around it

Meh…
I guess 14 or 16 really depends on who you are. I hate 14 so bad. 16 is the minimal for any decent work on the go.

Lol who carries those desktop sizes anymore.
13.6" to 14" are ideal in today's world.
Unless you want to hook up a desktop size 16" laptop to the docking station most of the time.
Also if you travel then you just can't lug those dino size laptops.

I am waiting for Costco to give some deals on M4.
they usually have 2 years extended warranty.

Not sure why this is marked as deal expired. A bunch of these are in-stock in various microcenter and I just got my local BestBuy to price match a random store over in Yonkers. I don't even have a Microcenter within 100 miles of where I am.
