the great egg panic is almost over now.

But seriously the media and politicians made the hype too big for the actual cost. How many eggs do people actually consume each week any way? Paying $3 or $4 more for 1 dozen will suddenly make them homeless while they gladly spend more on a coffee or lotto or other vice each day?

I go through 40-60/month. It's been a 500% increase. Prices at restaurants added surcharges (which will never go away). Baked goods got more expensive. Hardly hype.

Uh this is a deal site, no one on these forums is interested in paying 100% more for any product, especially not a staple food item like eggs.

Rocks in the park are free, crawl under any one you like.
