I once bought a set of these that looked exactly like this. ALL of them split in half relatively quickly. Would not recommend.

They're bamboo pieces glued together, this isn't solid wood.

Cutting boards split often because the wood pieces absorb water and swell at different rates. Bamboo is cheap and often sold as "low maintenance", so people don't care for them.
