Given they're promoted to death.
Will HVAC companies service them? Do they last? Anyone monitors power consumption? Etc

I was looking at the tosot brand and kinda wish I'd went that route now that I know I can install it and everything, but for $400, or whatever I paid at the time, this unit was lower risk if something had gone wrong.
It does work, and the efficiency of this unit seems good, so I can live with the quirks.

Supposedly a better built higher tier product. I have no experience with them.

I also questioned the responses that received theirs, I'm not sure if they work for the company or they got lucky and got their order.
