Is this an authorized seller? I would not buy if not. Because I've gotten multiple Govee items that didn't work out of the box due to faulty AC adapters. But they sent replacement parts with no issues because I had bought them from Sam's Club.
Edit: I had tested these lights before installing them and they were functioning properly. However, they stopped working once hung. It would have been a significant issue if they hadn't provided me with replacement adapters.

I came really close to pulling the trigger on a set of these lights…. But having no warranty really makes me less willing to get them. I also started looking into what this kit comes with and the power adapter looks really cheapo. Thin wiring insulation and construction doesn't look very robust imho. Compare this power adapter to say one from another competitor like eufy e22 and you'll see what I mean.
It also doesn't appear to come with enough clips and many people talking about how you end up needing to buy more, adding to the cost. Those 3m stickers never last but maybe a year if you are lucky, in my experience, and this type of stuff really needs to be properly clipped down imho.
If you do buy these and the adapter fails you'll basically have to buy an entire new kit as there doesn't appear to be adapters sold separately. The couple I found on eBay were basically the cost of a whole new kit fwiw.
Great price but this one isn't for me. Ty anyways Smilie

Its Target seller itself. It's Targets version of Woot for clearance stuff.

I have this set that I bought at Sam's Club last year. I minted the power supply and controller in my garage. I minted the lights in 1x3 furring strips so I could place them closer together to use all 100' along my 68' off roofline.

They have been running since before Halloween. Hopefully they survive the 120 degree days this summer.

I have been wanting them and this price looks tempting. Lowe's model near me is $120 vs this eBay at $110. Which one is better? Need suggestions please. I need at least 2 strands, 3 would be better. Lowe's seems to be a lesser model, comes with easy returns and warranty.

Great price! I've been wanting some of these for my house for a while. Btw, if you have a 3d printer, there are tons of mounting bracket models, so you don't have to rely on the adhesive.

Anyone know how to resolve this? Put up the 100 set in Dec '24, all off a sudden I have no blue or green and actually limiting me to just a handful of colors. I unplugged them hoping for a reset but that didn't work.
Their email support is non existent, 6 weeks later not 1 reply.

I was in Target today and saw the exact same set for $299. I bought 2 of these for $116 w/ tax each. They will be here Weds. Worth a shot, I've been wanting these for a while now.

Do you live somewhere with extreme conditions? Maybe the weather caused an issue with the lights. If it were me, I would try swapping out the power supply / controller. Would also check to see if you can get warranty to cover it
