I have 2 flexzilla hoses. They're good hoses but I think they're overpriced.

I do appreciate the connectors, being full hand size to easily screw on and off, and the spinning head which helps them not kink as you drag them around.

If you leave you hose out in the sun (I know you're not supposed to but people do) be aware the rubber will degrade and get sticky in a year.

I need a new hose and don't want to spend Eley money. Is this better than the Continental one recommended by wirecutter?

They don't like this one for some reason but online people like this.

I decided on the Continental. Flexzlla was about the same price. Happy with the rubber, easy to roll up, not too heavy. Hopefully will last for years.

Exactly the problem with tool posts!

Anyone that uses a hose as a tool will have an actual rubber hose. Go to an irrigation supply shop ...there will be no godzillas available

I like the Flexilla hoses. They are easy to untangle, lightweight, have good metal ends and easy to maneuver around. I use my hoses constantly and have been through many brands in the Fl sun.

Lead in hose - just like the ones I drank from back in the day.

Good hoses but the swivel on mine started to leak, no way to repair a leaky swivel other than cut the end off of and hose clamp a new end.

They did under TX sun light, became sticky in 1 year. The only good thing is manufacturer will send you the replacement and the new one became sticky in 1 year. Their coating material is bad, also hose kinks badly.
