The G3 still remains the highest mixed usage rated TV on rtings.com.
Gamers, remain without reservation at this TV setup only adds 1.3 ms to the G3's stellar input lag numbers. 4k @ 120Hz is 6.8 ms input lag.
The lowest sale price anywhere else is $3796.99 new, $2997 excellent refurbished.

Also, (opinion of writer) this TV will run way cooler and last longer than any other variant because of the lack of internals and internal processing which is the bulk of TV heat generated. Also, the annoying popping noise that was present in a lot of the G3 models is gone because of it. However, the trade off is that it requires TWO electrical plugins which will probably eat about 30-50 (guesstimate) more watts than the G3 by itself.

There is also 2-3% off additionally if you search around, cannot say anything else about it.
Looking at past deals, 77 inch G3 never went lower than $2800.
So consider the price for the TV alone.
