The M3 77" is a wireless (Samsung-Q95 series style external box, except wireless to the TV) G3 Panel including DTS audio codec and ATSC 3.0 support unlike the G4 (DTS supported,ATSC 1.0) G5 (No DTS, ATSC 1.0, current reviews and Dolby Vision issues is why I pulled the trigger on this one, well that and the exceptionally low price).
The G3 still remains the highest mixed usage rated TV on rtings.com.

One of the greatest slick deals ever. Also, (opinion of writer) this TV will run way cooler and last longer than any other variant because of the lack of internals and internal processing which is the bulk of TV heat generated. Also, the annoying popping noise that was present in a lot of the G3 models is gone because of it. However, the trade off is that it requires TWO electrical plugins which will probably eat about 30-50 (guesstimate) more watts than the G3 by itself.
This is also better than the deal that I posted last month with the C4, well if stock for the soundbar ever come back before sale end -

Also there is an additional 4% to be saved through AMEX.
There is also 2-3% off additionally if you search around, cannot say anything else about it.
M line is above G line but same panel. M line has wireless connectivity. If wireless is not important to you then wait for a better deal on G line.
Do you think there might be a 77 G3 lower than $2000?.
Looking at past deals, 77 inch G3 never went lower than $2800.
So consider the price for the TV alone.
