INGREDIENTS: FRANK'S RED HOT SAUCE (AGED CAYENNE RED PEPPERS, DISTILLED VINEGAR, WATER, SALT, GARLIC POWDER), WATER, SUGAR, SOY SAUCE (WATER, SOYBEANS, WHEAT, SALT), CARROT FIBER, SESAINE OIL, GARLIC POWDER, EXTRACTIVES OF PAPRIKA, SPICES (INCLUDING PAPRIKA), XANTHAN GUM (THICKENER), SOY LECITHIN & NATURAL FLAVOR.

This seems like it's still a vinegar-heavy sauce like regular Frank's or Tabasco.

Compare to Huy Fong Sriracha:
CHILI, SUGAR, SALT, GARLIC, DISTILLED VINEGAR, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM BISULFITE AS PRESERVATIVES, AND XANTHAN GUM.

I like it on mac and cheese. Also good on pizza, eggs, or fries. Anywhere someone might use ketchup really.

I found another photo online at the Frank's website. 140 mg (6% DV) in 1 tsp

My balls, and pretty much anything else. Sausage balls, taquitos, pho, stir fry. It is a mildly hot, spicy sauce. It's a little hotter than spicy ketchup, but it isn't super hot.

I'm not one of those Tobasco hating losers that doesn't understand spicy vinegar sauce, but I was still surprised how good the Tobasco siracha was. It is definitely better than the current Huy Fong siracha ever since they messed up the relationship with their pepper man. Based on what that guy posted above, he's probably right that it will be atypical for the style with a little more vinegar.

From the reviews "The texture was right but the taste is far from what a Sriracha should be."

In for one, but with a delivery date of April 24 - May 9, I'll pay 13 cents more and skip Subscribe + Save, too worried I'll forget about it with the delay.

Underwood Ranches Dragon Sriracha is pretty good. You can buy a 2 pack at Costco for $8.99.

Everything?

Not sure if that's the right answer here since this is the sriracha and not the original recipe

This is not one of my preferred srirachas. It's garlic kick just isn't right. I think they probably use garlic powder. The cayenne peppers vs jalapenos is ok, but it does have a different flavor.

Huy Fong is not as good as it used to be. Now that they source their peppers from all over, the color and heat varies greatly. You might get a good one, you might not. Stay away from the bright orange batches...I don't think the jalapenos are ripe.

If you want alternatives to the OG Huy Fong, which isn't the same since they split with their pepper supplier, look at:

Underwood Ranch (the OG Jalapeno supplier). Quite tasty. It' hard to find and expensive. At least they get the fruitiness of the peppers right. The garlic isn't the same.

Tabasco - This one is really delicious. More vinegar than most types and thinner. I think they mix in some of their tabasco mash.

This is $1 at my Grocery Outlet right now, probably at many others. It's pretty good, 6/10. They have a $2 big bottle of a Thai brand called Pantai which I think is better than huy fong sriracha current recipe.

Man I wish I stocked up on that old Huy Fong before they messed it up.
