Wasn't eligible for 25% Frown. Good deal for those that can get it.

Aren't the smaller packs frequently 2 for $5 at grocery stores?

Edit: Yes, these are 2 for $5 at my local jewel osco with additional 0.75 off coupon. Though they are 5 per pack so for a 12 pack this deal is similar except you are able to mix and match flavors at the local store.

I've tried these. They're seriously tasty DESSERTS, and not super-unhealthy as far as desserts go.

But the "breakfast biscuit" label is utter, shameful bullshit. These are NOT a part of a healthy breakfast, any more than a donut is (and I love donuts, but again, they're desserts!)
  • These biscuits have a measly 3g of protein
  • And an even more measly 2g of fiber
  • While boasting 10-11g of sugar.
Yeah, dessert. I wish these brands wouldn't bullshit us like this, but hey, too many parents will see this and think "it's a breakfast biscuit, it must be healthy; let me get these for timmy!" 🙄

^^^ agreed but I still get these when I go on the jobsite for something while driving.

Whoever came up with the idea is a marketing genius, like that guy who packaged 2 oz of caffeinated water and became a billionaire.

I avoid these due a GMO ingredient. Many are willing to take the risk, but I don't want to be a guinea pig in an ongoing experiment.
(Cue the "expert" "scientists"...)

Hiya, yeah, science-believer here. The rhetoric against GMO is wholly fear-based, not science-based. Example from actual expert scientists:
Quote :
Health Canada has been assessing GM foods for more than 20 years. As of 2019, over 140 genetically modified (GM) foods have been permitted for sale in Canada.
To date:
  • all of the GM foods we have reviewed are as safe and nutritious as non-GM foods
  • we have not found any verifiable scientific evidence that shows GM foods are less safe than traditional varieties
  • we have not found a study that caused us to change our conclusions about any assessed GM food product
Cue: "But that's 5+ years ago! Surely we must have discovered that GMO foods are killing us all!"

Nah. Still no good evidence that suggests that. Don't believe the charlatan who has suffered from (literal) brain worms, I beg ya.

I bought a 30 pack of blueberry from Amazon for $10.25 on 8/25/2024. This deal is OK for now, but if you can wait we'll probably see that again.

I just got one. It had a July 2025 expiration date.
All of the bags inside the sealed box were open.

That's just quality control, a little nibble to make sure they're still fresh. Good customer service

Do these countries that ban the cultivation of GMOs know something we don't, or are their governments more concerned with their citizens' health than with the "health " of big agribusinesses ?

Thanks for sharing! Considering the vast majority of countries on that list allow the import of GMO foods, that pretty much solidifies my point that GMOs are widely recognized as safe for consumption.
