, which makes me very unwilling to even buy deals such as this these days ! I'll have to think about this ..... thx though op for the post .
From my understanding you can have a lifetime license, and then transfer it over (deactivate/reactivate) on a new PC.
.
I'm not sure if they made any recent policy changes, but I will need to upgrade my PC sometime later this year (which has a lifetime license from way back in the day) and my current desktop cannot be upgraded to Win 11 unless I basically brute force the upgrade, which (IMO) probably isn't the best idea going forward.
Hopefully I can still keep my license and transfer it over.

I'll also give credit that people here aren't making 90's antivirus jokes.
.
For many people, Windows will be enough. For some people, they are simply more comfortable with 3rd party Internet Security software. (for their own reasons)
Either way.. It works good with Windows or 3rd party, and uses minimal resources in the background.
Yes, it will give you a false positive from time to time, and I'm OK with that. It forces me to pause and reflect for a second going forward, and I honestly don't mind that it's being a little too cautious at times.
^ I won't name/shame any websites in particular here, but there are some websites out there that do contain malware that this software has picked up.
Doing a Google search, I'll see that others have found the same with different security programs.
For that reason alone, I think that the software is worth it.
.
Most people around here like this program, and their biggest complaint is that it doesn't have a lifetime key anymore.
This would be really nice to have at $15 for a lifetime sub.
Heck, even at $40, I'd buy it for the full retail version if it was a "lifetime" subscription. JMO.
Hope that deal comes back around.
When I purchased my lifetime license, Cleverbridge was the SaaS service provider of Malwarebytes. This might make the difference when Malwarebytes consolidated the license database years ago.
