For anyone reading range hood reviews, and/or thinking about replacing/adding a range hood: Learn about makeup air. Lot of range hood reviews gripe about the hoods not working well, but that is likely because of not having a makeup air supply. Any externally vented hood will not work well without makeup air.

The TLDR: if you are venting outside, you need to have a fresh air source to replace the air that you are trying to exhaust. If you don't do that, your vent hood will be creating a vacuum within the home, and won't be able to effectively push the exhaust outside.

Great deal! I have the 450 cfm version for over a year and I couldn't be more happy about the performance. I looked at the "bad reviews ", many of them are either users ignorant or unreasonable expectations (just like any products reviews). Make sure you do your research on range hood, understand how it works and limitations. You will love the product.

It was impossible without knowing who the seller is, since that left me to keep trying a redirect link that went nowhere and would not load, and nowhere in this thread until you posted the info was the id of the merchant disclosed. C&P a link that doesn't work didn't fix the non working link. Thanks though - going to the merchant site got me there. Anyone know if this comes with the filters, or are they an add on? I checked the reviews and some complained it didn't come with filters, but idk if they meant special charcoal filters or the standard ones?
Edit - it comes with the standard filters, the charcoal filters are an optional add on.
