The TCL QM7 QLED is better than the TCL QM6K in almost every way, as the QM7 is brighter, has better black levels, has better image processing, and is more colorful overall, delivering a more impactful viewing experience.

The QM6K is, however, more accurate and follows the content creator's intent more closely than the QM7K does. It's also capable of gaming at 1080p @ 288Hz, while the QM7 tops out at 1080p @ 240Hz.

QM7 is also cheaper.

I wouldn't base any purchase on that game accelerator gimmick. The QM6K and QM7 are both 120hz panels with 144hz variable refresh rate capable. The game accelerator thing doesn't really make the TV 240hz or 288hz. It will accept that refresh rate from the source but the panel is still limited to 120hz or 144hz VRR.

The QM7 is much brighter and has four times more lighting zones. The QM6K seemed like a good budget mini LED TV when they first announced it but it ended up being quite disappointing for a mini-LED TV.

I bought a 65" QM7 off FB marketplace not working. The left side of the TV was dark. Opened it up and found o e of the ribben cables was askew. Unplugged it and plugged it back in and its been working. Bought it for $180. Amazing tv, holds it own against my 48" C3 OLED.

Is it true these TVs are as same or better than Sony Bravia 9 for three times less price? I am soo tempted to buy this

Bravia 9 is generally better still. QM8 is more comparable to the Bravia 9.

Bravia 9 vs QM7

QM7 is still an excellent TV. The biggest differentiator between the is how bright of a room you're putting the TV in. The higher end models do better in bright daylight spaces. If you're putting it in a darker space, you won't see a huge improvement in say the QM8 over the QM7.

Rated 7.1 at RTINGS. This seems like not a good deal.

Perhaps the QM8 is. This model is 2 tiers below the QM8.

It's there new 2.0 ratings which are much harsher. I saw someone said that would compare to a 7.5 or 7.6 with there old 1.2 testing system which is decent for a lower end TV. Got my 65" for $680 via Amazon and could not be happier for a bedroom TV.

Still makes more sense to get the RTINGS 7.5 rated Sony X85K 75" tv on sale right now at at Walmart ($648) than to get this. Rated better, 10 inches bigger, $100 cheaper, Sony not TCL.

I noticed that Rtings gave it a rather low review which surprised because of all the hype when it was first released.
