I want this, but means I have to try to sell my Samsung G8.
Anyone that have this, how are text on this? I use for work and play.
You'd have to look at in person and see if you get fringing. It seems to vary from person to person. It uses the same LG panel that the LG 39GS95QE-B uses, so maybe that can help you make a decision. I went with the 34" LG and don't have any fringing. It replaced an LED 34" LG monitor and the difference is staggering. The only thing is that it looks smaller than the old 34" because of the 800R curve.

So is the Lg the best of the 1440 OLED or is there better?

I went down this rabbit hole before I bought mine, and I've only had it since Saturday. Apparently only LG and Samsung make an OLED panel, so any brand that's not LG or Samsung uses one of the two. With the first gen panels, there was a good amount of fringing from the subpixel layouts, especially on the Samsung panel with their triangular arrangement.. This has been improved (not 100% fixed) on the next gen panels that both manufacturers use. Both are good panels, but it seems like the ones from LG get slightly higher ratings in all the reviews.
Edit: I got my 34" OLED LG open box- very good from Amazon for $630. I absolutely love it, but if this had been available I would have parted with the extra $120 for the bigger size, KVM switch, and USB C hub.

I love OLED but I cant get over the blurry text. I know some are better than others, and how cleartext has to be updated but I can't get one until the text isn't compromised. Is this still an issue or has it been fixed?

I have this monitor and reading text is brutal. I was shocked at how bad the color fringing is. Be prepared if you pick this up. Awesome for gaming tho.
