Everyone seems to be forgetting the rating and that these are equally or mainly to protect against the sun.

Seems to be a good option as protection from the sun when watching kids soccer practice

got some hardcore golfers here. Other than club tournaments when they don't suspend the game, I'm pulling over taking shelter or get a raincheck. If its raining enough that I need an umbrella, I don't want to play. Nothing fun about clubs slipping and hitting shots through puddles or ball getting plugged. And also, not everything has to be golf branded. I got so many plain umbrellas that I can just use it in rare occasion I end up playing in some light rain. IDK, may be its different in other parts of the country that it rains all the time and they have to adapt to play in rain/drizzle..
Absolutely horrendous take

I'm with you on rain checks, but I've found umbrellas surprisingly handy when using a push cart, especially during those scorching summer rounds. When you're walking a long par 5 and the sun's beating down, having that bit of portable shade, in addition to headgear, can really help.

Some push carts even come with an umbrella mount, which makes setup easy and hands-free. I agree the Callaway branding can feel a little over the top, but a lot of folks say it's a solid build. And hey—it's Costco. If it doesn't work out, returns are painless.

Not sold at any of the 50 stores within 100 miles of me.
I got the same result and did some poking around. Oddly the in store SKU is different than the online one for this item. The in store SKU is 1819508, hopefully they have some with that item number near you.

I have these. The locking mechanism broke on one of them. The only way it stays closed is if i velcro it with the strap.

A lot of golfers use these umbrellas to shield the sun when walking the course.
