This is a really good price. Pretty much the same price as their 256gb. This won't last. I picked up 5 for my retro gaming consoles.

I see your point, and comparing the two is more complicated than I care to spend on a forum. The extra capacity of the card will help, but it also depends on the wear-leveling algorithm incorporated into the card. In general, high endurance cards are likely to focus on this whereas a regular may focus more on speed (latency). Another factor is the cell technology. High endurance cards are often built from MLC cells, which have more write cycles, while regular cards often use TLC. TLC does not have the same write cycles. Maybe these better factors are somewhat offset by the fact that 4x the capacity theoretically could mean you write each cells 1/4th of the time. Realization of that may depend on usage scenarios, the file system and other factors.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great deal, and at the cost, it may be worth trying out even for a dash cam.
