I have the 10" battery saw, 18" plug-in model. I'm pretty hard on them and they still work good. Never as good as gas as I just cleaned up a huge tree I had dropped in my yard. But fine for smaller work.

I won't use any gas chainsaw that doesn't have a 1 gallon tank on it. :-)
I don't think this will last 30 minutes of cutting.
But it doesn't have a carb to clean each year why you don't maintain it properly each year (talking to myself). :-)
What chainsaw has a gallon tank?
My echo 590 has like a 1/6th of gallon and it lasts a long time, easy enough to fill up when it runs out. A gallon sized tank would make the saw pretty heavy when full.
Also; I never have engine issues. All my stuff gets ethanol free with stabil added to the gas. Chainsaws will sit for 6 months and start up just fine whenever I need them. Never have carb issues.
Attractive price. But I already have EGO and have found that saw to match small gas ones. I don't crank a gas one now for any thing less than maybe 18" in diameter.

No chainsaws have a gallon-sized fuel tank except for some custom jobs. The largest tank on any Stihl brand chainsaw is 44 oz., which is only 1/3 of a gallon.

Yeah, I figured as much.
No idea what the other guy was talking about then.

This was me being sarcastic about the gas tank. Like people saying they would never own an electric car unless it goes 2000 miles and could charge at home in 10 seconds.

So, I bought, what am I missing here? Seems like a great deal…but 4ah batteries seem really low for a chain saw. Is that the catch?
We'll return if runtime is less than like 30 min of continuous cutting.
I have other gas chain saws, but would be nice to have something electric for clearing trails and light work.
