True - but I'd rather have the print magazine much easier for me to read.

Note - Effective with the May/June 2025 issue, Consumer Reports Magazine is moving to a bi-monthly publication.

Up until a few months ago, I had been using Discount Mags for years. Most recently, I purchased a hard copy subscription from Discount Mags. Instead of receiving hard copy, I received nothing. I contacted DM, and here is their response: " As a valued subscriber, we're excited to announce that we're upgrading your subscription to a digital one". Upgrade? WTH? Digital access was 25% of the hard copy subscription cost. Goodbye Discount Mags.

I did contact the actual magazine and explained my lack of hard copy due to DM. They said not uncommon with DM, and reinitiated my full hard copy subscription + digital.

Great price for a 100% independent review magazine - in an age where the consumer continues to get squeezed, this magazine provides good journalism/reviews - $30 for two years is a great deal! Thanks OP.

Can't help but remember they dinged the Mazda Miata because it had a small trunk.

Their running battle with Starbucks is legendary and they were great. But complaining that a Miata isn't roomy kinda misses the entire point. It's like complaining that your sneakers don't have train horns.

Have you read their CARS section these days. Really good. And that's from a guy with six cars (one of them a first year 1989 Miata) and seven car magazine subscriptions.
