If you use it as daily desktop, Mac is good. But if you use it as home lab server, this is better

For $20 more you can get same specs from Amazon with occulink port https://a.co/d/cnmK3Bd
Or this one for for ~$523 (clip 5% coupon) but note it says frequently returned for defects:

Beelink on Amazon is the same price but better customer service. I made the mistake of getting Aoostar and when it died on me, they wouldn't respond. A good warranty is worth the peace of mind.

I haven't seen that on minisforum or beelink ones.

That is one ideal use for these mini-PC's. For some models you can even get vesa mounts to mount them on the back of your monitor for a clean/seamless setup. Not saying they are not powerful enough for more advanced tasks but for browser/office it's more than enough. In fact, this is probably overkill. You could get a ~$200-300 model that would work fine. But these specs will "future proof" you a bit.

Idk why the 8845 processor is so expensive for the spec... seems overpriced

Ii right now use a Beelink N100 as my homelab server running Prozmox and a Win10 (running Blue iris), Home assistant and couple small VMs.

Power efficiency on idle is important, is on my stack on LiFEpo4 backup power.

Which mini PC would be good choice? Forget price as a primary consideration.

I need to replace an aging tower at my office. Just running QB, google cal and basic browsing nothing else. What's a good reliable mini PC that can handle that but not break the bank (and don't have to worry about security "tracking" issues).
