It helped me know that the deal worked for others and may also be helpful for others wondering if it's worth having both services or not

My grocery deliveries were always wrong. I was always receiving only part of my order or someone elses order entirely. Is this a problem for others?

PSA: WM grocery purchases don't code as groceries for debit/credit card offers.

Walmart is a joke, most products are out of stock, available only delivery, then changes to only pickup, only at store, this changes by the hour. Then you finally order and they cancel on you after a few days. Customer service became extremely bad recently they made some sort of change in the system and call centers. And if you return a few times plus the cancellations from the store, they will deactivate your account for good and you can't even see your purchases.

They delivered wrong once a year with us but quickly refunded so not too bad
Lately they promise refunds and never go through with them. Its a new way to scam customers. You return things and many times don't get refunded. Happened to me and many others just search on Google Walmart not refunding returns.

I had this offer last year and used it. I dont see it again this year. Maybe AMEX is limiting offers to once per account, dont know.
But that on $98 this is $49 amex won't give the credit it's gotta be $98

My first comment ever, for 50 and all the benefits, it's a good deal, primarily for weekend staple deliveries, deals are good with free delivery, save gas at the pump and at Sam's club which is closer to me, Paramount is a plus, and there's even more...50 definitely worth it

They can definitely see the tip amount when choosing to pickup an order, and orders with no tips will sit until all the other ones are delivered first.
That's not true at least in my area. A Walmart employee shops the order and a gig employee delivers. Like I said, shoppers don't even have the option to tip with many of the payment options. The orders always go out though. Maybe you're thinking of orders placed through Instacart or Doordash?

Walmart plus was only useful for getting PS5s. There are other ways to get free shipping

Which ways, vsauce?

If you go to try to cancel your subscription, does it offer you an option to renew at 50% off? https://slickdeals.net/f/17790528

My experience is the opposite. No issues whatsoever. I'm guessing you just have a poorly managed Walmart.

Does anyone know if you can stack this on top of an account that already has a discounted renewal for $49 set up for July?

I have to say I've shifted a lot of spending over to Walmart with this membership. 1-2 day shipping; usually cheaper than Amazon; 90 day return policy; and Walmart doesn't commingle their inventory with their marketplace sellers.

For me, this is still not a deal at $49, I have a neighborhood and a super walmart within a few minutes of my house, I do not get Walmart gas, Costco gas is cheaper and better, used to get prescriptions at walmart but switched to Amazon pharmacy, which is significantly cheaper (Walmart is $84 for 3 month supply with insurance, Amazon is $16, even though Amazon does not accept my insurance)

I think the guy was right and you're trying to gloat or something. It's cool you like Amazon better but it's something that's pretty irrelevant. I've had both and found Walmart way better for myself, I can see it being not so great for others too. There's no arguing that the core price for the annual membership is better and when factor in a deal like this, it's just obviously a better price. That still doesn't mean it'll work better for you, but I think it's something that anyone could figure out pretty easily.

Why do you need to say this here? Do you want others to validate your subscription to Prime and buying their overpriced grocery?
