It helped me know that the deal worked for others and may also be helpful for others wondering if it's worth having both services or not

My grocery deliveries were always wrong. I was always receiving only part of my order or someone elses order entirely. Is this a problem for others?

PSA: WM grocery purchases don't code as groceries for debit/credit card offers.

Not going to be resubscribing due to them wanting tips for the delivery orders. They outsource it to contractors (doordash type drivers) who want tips and adjust their service depending on the tip. Kroger/Fred Meyer/whatever else they are called everywhere actually have their employees deliver and don't allow tips for grocery delivery with their boost membership.
I can often order the same stuff (except something perishable like milk) with free shipping instead of free delivery. It seems to arrive the same way and same day, but there is not even an option to add a tip.

That's one way to lock customers in when the huge tariffs kick in.

That was always a problem for me! I would never get a complete order and spent more time trying to get a refund for the missing items that placing the order.
I always have to be waiting for notifications from the app when the shopper is picking out items. If they mark something crucial as unavailable without my selected substitution, I immediately cancel the order and reorder, even if they grabbed 99% of my cart. Sorry, but I needed chicken for what I was planning to make. Then go back to the order cancelled page and click "Reorder all" so everything goes into my cart. Then I select another Walmart Supercenter location near me for delivery, in hopes that store will have my whole cart in stock, set substitutions, and check out again. Works 100% of the time but might be a little annoying and laggy because you have to monitor if things are oos when the shopper is picking out items. Sometimes if you chat and complain to CS about it, they will give you a coupon for your next order.

No interest in having Walmart+ but this deal might be worth it for people interested in Paramount Plus (w/ limited commercials) which is a free addon.
used to be annual membership, now it is just for 6 months

Worked for me, but probably won't sign up again. The free delivery was nice, but I'm already paying for an Amazon Prime membership and I can wait for next day.
Same for me. I had it for a year but got little benefit from it. Used Paramount+ maybe 4 times. Tried ordering groceries several times but it was an incredibly frustrating experience due to them being out of everything, including substitutes. My mom gets grocery deliveries sometimes and nearly every single order is missing something and has something from someone else's order, if not multiple mistakes - I'm not exaggerating, they're never right. And I'm not planning on cancelling Amazon Prime. Good deal, if you'll use it, but I never figured out how to make it worthwhile.

Yes, my mom has the same issue - nearly every order is a disaster. She also orders from a supermarket chain, and they do a much better job so she's been ordering from Walmart less. They were bad from the start and have never improved.

To those having order issues, try and set a different store as the one fulfilling the order. I have like 6 available options and 1/6 gets my order right most of the time. The other 5..... Disasters

It will be kind of directly under the CONFIRM CANCELATION message. You should see CLAIM OFFER 50% off. Pretty cool that they are letting members take advantage of this too!

Three of my total of four grocery orders were far worse than wrong... they never showed up! Ever.
I had signed up about 3 years ago and 3 of my total of 4 grocery orders (mid-size orders, approx 20 items) would give the typical time window they would be delivered, yet they never showed up! I repeatedly called to ask what is the problem, and they said that they contact 3rd party drivers and none were interested in accepting the delivery. That was the explanation for all 3 (non) deliveries.

The delivery went promised from one day to the next, to a 3rd day,and on the 4th day Walmart cancelled each order without me even saying anything.
I was twice promised a call direcly from the store manager, yet no call ever came.
Right then and there Walmart lost me as a customer for their Walmart+ (over)paid "service".

For several weeks, tho I repeatedly demanded a refund for the 'membership' they stauncly declined doing so, as the rep kept saying "You placed 4 orders, so you did 'USE' the service and no refunds especially if a customer has 'USED' the service. They finally refunded me weeks later, after I refused to give in.
I would refuse any Walmart+ membership 'deal' even if it was $2 a year. That's the level of 'service' they provided.

Not every existing member is seeing this banner. I didn't, but I wonder if it's because I was already on a $49 subscription from a previous deal.
