I have 2 of these and they are ok. The only thing I don't like about them is that they dim over time when you have them on. For example, if I turn it on the brightest setting, after maybe 10 minutes they would have dimmed to about the medium brightness setting. I know this is the case because then when I turn them off and turn it on again, I can tell they are much brighter again.

Your link points to the regular kit with only one battery. This deal is for the regular kit plus an additional FREE battery. So you get TWO BATTERIES with this deal, not one.

Sounds like a design flaw. Ryobi shouldn't even be selling them if they're all like that

Think about what you would pay for a 10,000mah phone recharging battery, and then think about what they are asking you to pay for 2, 2,000mah batteries... not a good deal...

I have not invested in the Ryobi USB batteries, because of their past history of discontinuing their similar Tek4 batteries, leaving my Ryobi Tek4 tools useless.

It is a hood little line for light inhome use
Where you do not need the big stuff
Lights are ok I use them all the time and recharge saves $$
The light will go down to lower settings as the run time and battery life and heat matters …. Then Recharge
I give the line 👍🏻

They are designed to go to the lower settings as battery life and run time
This is like a big car dome light haha
These are light duty… the batteries recharge has saved me money

Neat little light. Picked this up last year as a light to camp in my van for a week, after a hurricane. Worked great. I have several of their usb tools, light duty but compact handy. Love the adjustable flash lights with laser pointer in the series. Easily my favorite & every day light among a dozen lights that I have. Much better, imo, to buy something with removable battery like this, than no name lighst with a fixed battery. Anyway for a small area light in emergencies, this is pretty neat. I supplemented it with a rechargable bulb shaped camping bug zapper from the walmart camping aisle.

I've started collecting these. I like the idea of having a small bag with several small tools and batteries I can keep in my car for various small projects and fixes. You can also use the batteries as a power bank to charge other things, like your cell phone. The capacity isn't great but I think it's probably worth it for that alone. They make atleast a couple different capacities in the same form factor battery. When these go on sale, I think its worth the purchase, not for full price though. Luckily, they are on sale frequently. I'm waiting for the stapler to be on sale. Seems like the perfect little range bag companion. It's $50 right now but I think there's still some wiggle room.

I would say no. 4v is not good for most thing. And for all thing that Ryobi offer in their 4v usb there are other brand for that at a lower price. Like Skil 4v screw driver is stronger than Ryobi one.
