This keyboard is amazing, and the remapping with the Logitech G Hub used to be a bit finicky before, but the current version is now fixed (it used to erase remaps, macros, etc when updating automatically so you had to download a version you liked and turn off auto-updates OR sometimes the app just didn't want to open) again though, the current version fixed it and it's amazing.
The keyboard itself feels amazing BUT expect your keycaps to fade almost instantly (about 1-3months, for me that is instantly since I've had other keyboards for years without issue). The keyboard itself feels amazing if you don't mind the keycaps fading though. Also, the pass-through USB is cool when using headsets since you can easily plug-in or exchange for others if they die during long play sessions.
I owed it for about 5yrs (I actually own like 3 of them since I liked it so much even with the little downsides and wanted different switches every now and then (There was no need for them, I just got good deals on them and wanted to try them). My 3 keyboards are still working and going strong, just the keycap fading.
Now, though, I bought a Royal Kludge s98, and that thing is just AMAZING. I fell in love with the colors, sound of the switches, I haven't given a try at the macros and all that, but since I pair it with a 502Hero mouse from logitech I pretty much have the availability to about 10 macros at the tips of my fingers on my right hand, so I don't mind. The s98 also has wireless connectivity, wired, and connection to several devices (up to 3 or 4 i believe) with the flick of a switch. It will ring you up for around $80-90 during sales and I know that is around 1.5-2x the price of what is shown in this deal, but trust me, it's worth the extra saving up for it.
Hope this helps someone!
You are doing something wrong, definitely works, I had this for around 5 yrs and it always saved. Try these tips to troubleshoot it:
1.)Make sure you enable logitech G Hub in your startup apps.
2.) Make sure you are using the right profile. You will usually boot up to the "desktop default" profile. The software will switch around profiles depending on the app that you are using or you could lock it in a single profile. (Each profile has it's own settings, including the RGB)
3.) Make sure you are using the most recent update for Logitech G Hub, previous versions gave me a bit of a hassle to get everything working correctly, but it's been fixed.
