I just wish it came with the homebase 3 for future compatibility. Many newer cameras from them need homebase 3 just to work.
My daughter got a doorbell cam, single camera, and Homebase 2 for her apartment, and works really well for her.
If you have a house, you really need to get a Homebase 3, because things like their floodlight cameras, solar cameras and such only work with Homebase 3, which makes the cameras much smarter by linking to the Homebase 3.

But yeah not seeing actual linkage between the 2 systems, was hoping homebase 3 acted like a hub between the systems
