JBL Extreme 50% off at my local Target. They had other models on clearance also. Great deal.

Just junked an xtreme pro 2 after less then 2 years of use due to failing battery and not holding a charge with the battery. I just replaced it with the sonicboom 2 plus. I was able to snag that the other day for $149.99 on amazon. Good luck with these, i have never had a JBL speaker survive more then 2 years. I also baby the shit out of my stuff.
checked a couple stores in CT, on sale for $299 around me.
I am also in CT and my store didn't have a sale tag. I still asked a store associate to run price check and lo and behold the was indeed $189 but only on black color

Wow I'm super surprised! I got my JBL extreme 2 in 2017 and still going strong, even the battery life holds well.

You, "junked" the speaker? JBL speakers are notoriously easy to replace failed batteries. Amazon sells kits with the tools and a fresh battery and YouTube is filled with how-to guides that make it a 15 minute fix. Hope you didn't actually throw those old speakers in the trash. That's a lot of money to throw away.
