About this Item (ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 AIO CPU Cooler):
  • Contact Frame for Intel LGA1851 | LGA1700: Optimized contact pressure distribution for a longer CPU lifespan and better heat dissipation
  • More performance at every speed – especially more powerful and quieter than the P12 at low speeds. Higher maximum speed for optimal cooling performance under high loads
  • Native Offset Mounting For Intel and AMD: Shifting the cold plate center toward the CPU hotspot ensures more efficient heat transfer
  • Integrated VRM Fan: PWM-controlled fan that lowers the temperature of the voltage regulators, ensuring reliable performance
  • Integrated Cable Management: The PWM cables of the radiator fans are integrated into the sleeve of the tubes, so only a single visible cable connects to the motherboard

After finding an install trick in the reviews it was really easy.

1) Install the mounting clips
2) Place cooler and start the screw on one side into the mounting clip
3) Loosen the other side mounting clip by a couple turns and start the other cooler screw into that side.
4) Re-tighten the mounting clip and finish tightening the cooler (going back and forth between sides).

Worked first time for me and only took a couple minutes. Basically, loosening the mounting clip on one side allows for that cooler spring screw to go in at a slight angle without a ton of pressure.
Obligatory: this is a fantastic AIO with solid (in my personal experience) support from the manufacturer. But they use thicc boi™ radiators. Make sure it will fit in your chassis.

It keeps my 9800x3d super cool. The hooks that locks the plate to the CPU bracket gave me a little trouble, but I finally got it latched on after a few attempts (30 minutes). It's not going anywhere now. I would still highly recommend this.
I upgraded to a 9800x3d and got this cooler for it and I also had a little bit of a tough time installing the bracket. It didn't take me a long, but it didn't go on as easy as I was hoping. I think my brackets had a little too thick of a powder coat because one of the screw holes wouldn't let the screw go through. I had to hold the piece in my hand and use pliers to turn the screw gently, but still applying enough force to break through the powder coat and get the screw to move freely. Once I got past that, I was able to mount it pretty easily.

Very happy with this AIO.

Are you making a racing stripe joke about the lights adding performance?

The fans should perform the same if the base specs are the same.

The RGB ones just have extra wires for lighting.

No they are different completely and a bit better
