We have this one (if it's the magnetic one) - it's a pretty good bike. If you're worried about whether it'll become a clothes hanger, it's a safe try compared to nicer bikes like Peloton or Schwinn IC4

I don't think it's magnetic (they have a YOSUDA Pro model that is), but is belt drive using resistance against a 35 pound flywheel. Many of the reviews comment on how quiet it is though, which is a good sign though!

"In the Box:

I would guess this has friction pads, which is a non-starter. To me it's magnetic resistance or bust. No noise and it doesn't wear out. I have the Yosuda Pro https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097P77...in_title_3 I can confirm it's a good bike. Ugly paint design on the flywheel and the computer is pretty crude (I just use the clock) and not very legible, but as for riding, I love it. It's my cool-down machine. I've been using it every day for around 5 months, and it's still solid. I did change the seat, but my derriere has gotten smaller, so I may put the OEM seat back on.
I can't vouch for other bikes, but if you just do an Amazon search for magnetic resistance bike there's a ton of options available. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=magnet...doa-p_1_14

Dead, but for posterity, this is not magnetic: has a friction brake that you regulate resistance through. You can see it in the pic (white felt-like part at 11-oclock over the flywheel)
