Agreed! Zwilling "2Men" made in Germany not just German steel. That's the quality you're actually looking for. Henckels is the international branding (1Man) made in China, not the best "I thought" quality for what you're paying.
I did like the knife block itself, though, so I eventually just bought my own magnetic block to store my knives:
