Still working off my $2.99/month with ads for 6 months deal. $145 after the Amex offer still feels expensive for premium, I thought I last paid $119 for premium and stacked with Amex and CB last year....

Of note, they've pulled the access to sports that the ad version had through last month.

How are the ads with Max? Funny enough, I usually do most streaming via my computer and I have ADGUARD. I've never seen an ad anywhere, not on Peacock, the Roku site, Amazon Prime, Hulu or even Youtube. Will it be the same on HBO? When I do watch via my Roku device I'm hit with an avalanche of ads, so I don't.

Just fyi...for those with YouTube TV they are also offering the discounted annual Standard plan for $140, so if you like to get the HBO channels in your guide as well as ad free in the Max app that's an option as well.

Only thing upcoming I see worth subbing was The Last of Us, but I'll wait until season 2 is finished at the end of May and sub for a month to binge watch it in June.

Using a fake account just to mention something illegal says everything about it.
BitTorrent is not inherently illegal. That is like saying all money is illegal because some people buy drugs with it.

Just had my ad free subscription run out. Got that on a different deal, with an Amex credit as well. Can't believe how expensive Max is.

Holding out for the $140 annual price for premium from last year. With the $45 from Chase Sapphire from last year, cost only $95 for a year of Premium.
assume Black Friday or different timing?

I received an email today offering annual discounts but I still see them at 99, 169 and 209.
his math is based off AMEX credit / offer by using their card for payment.

I'm still on my $2.99/month Black Friday deal for a few months.
I don't think the ads in Max are terrible…you kind of get used to them.
Hulu on the other hand is pretty bad.

If any of you were into ER in the 90s, I highly recommend The Pitt on Max.
I've really been into it.
