There are too many ads.
Still working off my $2.99/month with ads for 6 months deal. $145 after the Amex offer still feels expensive for premium, I thought I last paid $119 for premium and stacked with Amex and CB last year....
Of note, they've pulled the access to sports that the ad version had through last month.

The context in this thread is using it to watch Max content.

Since I already had the Disney/ESPN+/Hulu bundle I switched to the Max bundle which replaces ESPN+ with ad-free Max for $3 more (29.99 total, pretax). That's the way to go for me since I already have and want Hulu/D+ ad-free...

I have the same bundle and it's a great deal, but it's frustrating only getting 1080p and no Atmos sound on Max. Would love to pay an extra $5 a month to upgrade to get the full experience but at least you get the best version of Disney/Hulu.

Their plans/rates are not that great.
Our department got an offer for $55. Incudes wireless line, smart watch line and device line(tablet). I'm paying about $95 with taxes for the old elite wireless line and smart watch line.

Do you need to cancel in order to resubscribe to use the deal? Switching plans is still showing the original prices for me.

Agreed. I got the $2.99 per month for 6 months trial and hate the interruptions from so many ads. Not planning to renew.

Only thing upcoming I see worth subbing was The Last of Us, but I'll wait until season 2 is finished at the end of May and sub for a month to binge watch it in June.
I like hbo/max for the movies. Why? Well, since they have to choose movies for their linear hbo slots, I get free recommendations that help us decide what hbo movies to stream just by looking at the hbo channel guide.

I think we all know what they were referring to in a deal thread about Max.
