I know I've seen this at a couple local Walmarts for $10. Huge YMMV, but if you happen to be there it's worth a look.

The old Harvest Moon games are the same series as the new "Story of Seasons" games. These are made by Marvelous, and translated/localized by XSEED (with the old "harvest moon" titled games being translated by Natsume). After Natsume/Marvelous stopped their deals, Natsume kept the harvest moon name, and continued making new games under that name, so Story of Seasons is the franchise you're probably wanting to get.

I never played original Harvest Moon, so I'm not sure what to compare that to.

Same! Walmart seems to have dropped this one, Cult of the Lamb, Persona 5 Tactica, and a few others at select locations for $10.

Hello Kitty island adventure is alot like Animal Crossing. Might look into it just came out for switch and got really good reviews.
