Is this easier to put on/off than the default band? I'm constantly taking it off or moving it to the other arm when i track kettlebell workouts.

I don't have this band but my gut says no. It would either have to be really stretchy to fit over your hand or you have to loosen it to slide off and then tighten it back up after you put it back on. It has the advantage of theoretically being "infinitely adjustable" but I don't expect it to be easier or quicker to off or put on.

If you are taking the watch off frequently, I'd honestly recommend the magnetic official one. More expensive of course but it honestly is solid and quick to take on and off

The braided one probably won't be as good for the gym, between soaking up sweat, drying rather slowly, and the clasp possibly catching on stuff.

It's also useful being able to quickly cinch down the sport loop when your arms are moving around a lot. The sizing clasp on the braided one looks more fiddly (though at least it has one--with Apple's braided stretch loop, you quickly learn to buy a size down or it slips up and down your wrist after a year).

So if you don't like swapping your bands and you're at all active, the sport loop is a better design for an all-arounder. I'm also not 100% sure I'll like having the clasp under my wrist when mousing, etc, so figured I'd just grab both.

I haven't received mine yet but I'm pretty sure it's a stretch band like the Apple Braided Loop, so should be super easy to put on and take off—the adjustment is set and forget. Per my other comment, finding a tightness where that's true and it's still tight enough for very active use might be another story.
