I picked one up after comparing to both the gen5detect and gen5outsize. Although the carpet brush did make more noise on the v15, (I think the detangling teeth were redesigned for gen5) everything else was pretty similar. Also this thing (v15 from Costco) comes with a ton of attachments!

I don't mind the trigger on the v15 and I switched often between using the 3 vacuums. The outsized carpet brush was massive (too big in my opinion). But I did love it having two batteries with 2 charging cables. Ultimately I kept the v15 due to price. I got the gen5detect for $749 and the gen5outsize for $809+tax.

I picked up a v10 and returned it within days. I really like the concept of these wireless vacuums but the battery definitely needs to last longer and charge time needs to be reduced a bit.

Yesh i learned quickly these are more for quick clean ups but you still need a corded vacuum for normal use

I believe that's costco's general policy.

Please suggest a powerful cordless vacuum cleaner for a lower cost…

The Dyson V15 Detect has a suction power of approximately 10 kPa in standard mode and up to 27 kPa in turbo/boost mode, based on independent testing. Dyson typically measures suction in air watts (230 AW in boost mode), but these kPa values were reported in rtings review.
