I have great T-Mobile reception in my metro area, and Mint deprioritized data is unusable. Postpaid was getting 70mbps down and I was getting less than 1mbps in a suburban area, not heavily occupied, tower in line of sight. We had the same signal strength and phone. I switched to US Mobile Warp (Verizon), and even though it's often on LTE, it's consistently at 50mbps.

It is worth testing before switching. Some areas report this. In my area, T-Mobile and Mint have been nearly identical. There are some bad spots but those same spots were bad on both T-Mobile and AT&T when I had them.

I bought this and got screwed too. Mints, trial plans are at full speed. Three month ones, but when you buy the 12 month plan, your data is useless.

If you have a number to port in, you can get a free samsung phone and year of unlimited for the same $240 price. They recently had the A16 5G but now are only offering the A15 5G. After activating bundled plan you are free to switch devices.

Could you clarify "After activating bundled plan you are free to switch devices"? Is there a minimum amount of time I have to stay on the A15? Or can I switch devices like immediately?

You can switch immediately. If it includes a physical sim then its as simple as moving it into you preferred device, if its an eSim activation then you can change devices from your mint account dashboard.
